Treasurer
James Silvester is
the treasurer
of the Trans-Pecos Renewal Center.
He has spent the better part of the
last twenty two years in Odessa, Texas. James graduated from Odessa High
School in 1989 and joined the U.S. Army. After three years, he returned
to Odessa to live and work. James is currently employed with the Best
Western Garden Oasis and serves as a relief auditor. When not working
James is involved with several organizations in the community. He has
worked with the Volunteers in Public schools program for four years and
was named the outstanding secondary VIP for the 2000-2001 school year.
James has also worked with the Drug Free Youth in Texas program and the
Drug Free Youth Conference program. James has also been recently elected
as the Permian Basin Intertribal Powwow Committee Chairperson for 2007.
