Executive Director

Luis Tijerina, AKA: Watching Wolf, of Comanche descent was born and raised in Odessa, Texas.  Over the last nineteen years Wolf has been walking the Sundance road and has been the keeper of the Inipi or Sweat lodge.  Wolf is also a Medicine Pipe carrier.  Luis was named Chief in August of 2007 in South Dakota at a Sundance ceremony.

As Executive Director of the Trans-Pecos Renewal Center (T.P.R.C.) Wolf has been charged with the direction of the board and the Powwow.  He has done so only with the help of many strong and willing accomplices.  This is Wolf’s ninth year at the helm and the organization has shown growth, that of which has been described by some professionals, of organizations that have been in business for twenty years.

Wolf’s vision of the T.P.R.C. and the Trans-Pecos American Indian Association (T.P.A.I.A.) is that they would join in force to open the Trans-Pecos American Indian Center.  A place where all American Indians can go to get assistance in all of their needs.
