Advisory Board Chairperson - Vena "V-N-Agahai" LeFevre V-N-Agahai which means Goes Across Woman has ancestral roots going back centuries in West Texas, Vena is of Lipan Apache heritage, a mother of four, and grandmother to many. We are honored to have her wisdom, support and guidance in our organization. In semi-retirement after over 35 years as a professional office manager and administrative assistant in the medical field, she has worked with the Native American Youth Conference, annually, for close to a decade, with American Indian women incarcerated in a local jail setting, and was a VISTA volunteer, assigned to the Permian Basin Council on Alcoholism for three years.
