Director
Victor Silvester was born in
Kingston-on-Thames, London, England in 1942. As a result of the
heavy bombing of London during WWII, he was evacuated to the British
countryside along with thousands of other children from the London
Community.
Currently, Chairperson of the Permian Basin Regional Planning Commission
Citizens Corps, President of the Board of Directors of the Operation
Desert Shield/Desert Storm Association, Member of the Board of Directors
of the Trans Pecos Renewal Center, Emergency Management Coordinator for
the Trans Pecos Renewal Center, Member of the Trans Pecos American
Indian Association, Member of the West Texas Patriot Guard Contingent,
Member of the Permian Basin Vietnam Memorial Board, Vice-Commander of
the Permian Basin Veterans Council, Member of West Texas Military
Welcome Home Committee, Served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the National
Vietnam/Gulf War Veterans Coalition, Washington D.C.and member of the
Founding Committee of the National Gulf War Resource Center.
